To develop wise and good stewards of all that the Lord has placed under our direct authority and also into environments in which we influence. A biblical world view of stewardship can be consciously defined as: “Utilising and managing all resources God provides for the glory of God and the betterment of His creation.”
Empowering Effective, Moral and Responsible Leaders
Empowering business leaders to be ethical, moral and responsible in all aspects of business and in the communities in which they operate their business. Mathew 20:26“…Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant.” Exodus 18:21; “But select capable men from all the people—men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain —and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens.”
Equipping Bold Witnesses in God’s Economy
Ministering to business owners, leaders and professionals so that they may be filled with bold faith to witness the gospel in the marketplace. One website defined marketplace ministry as, “The directing of evangelism and other Christian activities toward the secular marketplace.” or simply, “ to be a disciple and witness for Christ in and through your work or business.”
Establishing Kingdom builders
Unleashing business people to fulfil their potential as Kingdom builders. If you take care of God’s Kingdom, he will take care of yours! We have the greatest purpose of all – to rescue people for eternity through Jesus. Kingdom builders demonstrate a great commitment to the Great Commission and the Great Commandment.
Characteristics of a Christian Business
There are hundreds of proverbs, pieces of wisdom, and guidance in the Bible for business owners and professionals. The way we treat others, our customers, employees, and all stakeholders should reflect the goodness of God in a Christian’s life and business. However, out of the many Christian characteristics, there are four which are core of what it means to be a Christian business. These are integrity, excellence, serving others and giving.
